Squidge performance

Since the upgrade, there have been many a time when performance was the pits. I'm doing a few things to increase performance of webpages loading, and will be reevaluating the IRC server software. This will get done over the next few days. Please be patient - I am working on it!

fyi - webmail just gave me an error that read "connection dropped by IMAP server."
