Database driven sites down

Database driven sites, like the WWOMB, NCISFiction.com, Fictionresource.com, and a few others are down at the moment. All other functionality is up and running. We're working on a solution.

UPDATE 12/21/10: There's no way around it - we're down until Thursday 12/23 around 5PM Pacific time.

sorry. My computer service was out for awhile...read that days...three or four and between that and the granddaughter's staying for the week...til friday then back again on sunday till they go back to school, I'm just now getting access again.

Long story short, a guy I hired to help diagnose a network problem shut off access, and I have no way of fixing the problem until I'm there. And my foolproof backup system worked - until I moved from server A to server B. We'll be up Thursday afternoon, and I'll spend Friday making sure things are changed back so there aren't any issues like this in the future.

ah, well, these things happen. Gives me time to work on some of my WIPs. And play the FB games . Am sorry your hire messed up...mainly cuz it makes more work for you.
