Is this the kind of thing you mean? I tried to connect to the dSA on squidge earlier today and got a message that said something about "taking too long to connect"...but I tried again a few hours later and it worked fine.

I second a lot of "server taking too long" errors, for me in webmail, when clicking on various buttons in the inbox and emails. They've been resolving with a refresh of the whole webmail page, but it's not coming back at all right now.
