Squidge/LiveJournal discussion - outcomes
Aug. 20th, 2007 08:22 amLast week, Squidge hosted a chat on possibly entering into the LJ business from a Squidge based reality (which means one of our own runs it, no TOS'ing, and safe). We came up with some ideas on what we wanted out of it, for at least a "phase 1". Those things are:
A one-stop Myspace like page/directory of fanfiction authors and artists
Default system likes (fandoms you work in, etc)
Default system tags plus user-defined tags, ie. "Scrubs Slash" would be a system tag and "JD finally gives in and makes out with The Todd" user-defined tag.
A way to link to your work homepage, stories, etc
A place to blog if you want to as part of your homepage
Internal search engine for tags and for profiles and blogs
You can read the chat log itself. It's listed at this URL: http://www.squidge.org/squidge/irc_ljchat.log
