Unplanned Downtime

If you've tried to access any of the Squidge sites in the last 12 hours, you would have encountered issues. That's because a tree came down last night and took down all of the power for the neighborhood. We were down for just about 12 hours. Everything should be back up now and is processing as it should be, with, of course, SquidgeWorld Archive being the last to come back up.

Please let us know if you see any irregularities.

Yeah, it's definitely been more pronounced this year than in years past. Haven't had this many downtimes since 2018!

Oh no! I missed the outage but I hope everything else is okay? I mean with you and yours?

Yep! Power went out at 8pm last night, and we just decided to go to bed. The tree that fell was a couple hundred feet down the road on the next property over, and luckily only took out the electrical. It was low 30s overnight (like -2C or so) but snuggled under a pile of blankets we were warm enough.

🧿 Brr, I always get a bit jumpy about that kind of thing. Friend of mine lost their car from a tree. Just the worst luck there.
