Verizon, revisited (Squidge down again)

Apparently the phone company (Verizon) started having problems again last night. DSL is spotty at best so the system has apparently been mostly unavailable since sometime last night. No ETA.

For a brief time I was able to get onto irc, though it was lagging. That shut down. I did get into The Sentinel archive.
