Immediate downtime - short timeperiod

I'm taking squidge.org (webserver, mailserver, irc server) down to see if I can replace the faulty system now that it seems to be repaired. I also have to upgrade the bios on the database server (which should be transparent to everyone out there).

Downtime of about 15 minutes max.

Am away in France
so have not read all updates
just letting you know, my email still doesn't like sending or accepting emails
which is becoming an issue. Cat's squidge email does the same. Sigh.
