It SEEMS like a Monday

Okay, first off, the listserver fell over and went boom. It's back up now, and all of the email that has been queueing up over the last few days should be processed once it reaches the server, etc. It should take 24 to 36 hours, depending on where your email was, how it got queued by either your ISP or my ISP.
That's the good news.
The bad news is, I had to reboot the main webserver and email server for Squidge, and had some problems due to the external USB backup disk. I had to disconnect it, and now it's all fine (downtime about 10 minutes max). HOWEVER, the external USB backup disk is NOT. I'm seeing if it's salvageable or not. If so, there's no downtime or anything; things will be fine. If it's not, then I need to get another external USB backup disk. What does this mean to you? BACK UP YOUR STUFF! I mean things SHOULD be fine, but for some reason if the main server was to fall over and go boom, taking the hard drives with it, you would have to restore.
See what I said about it seeming like a Monday?
On the very lighthearted note, while waiting for a delayed flight, I set up a Squidge.ORG "swag" shop over on CafePress. If you want Squidge stuff, head on over. It's at http://www.cafepress.com/SquidgeORG - let me know what you think.
Now on to fix the backup disk and work on a couple of backlogged requests...
