Two Squidge updates

Squidge has been humming along just fine for a while now, but there are two updates I need to update people about.

1) New database server: Because of database performance, I just purchased a new dual Xeon server to move the database to. It should help performance a great deal.

2) There is an issue with the antivirus software on the servers, causing problems with mail scanning. For the time being, I have turned off antivirus scanningof email, so if you get email from squidge, make sure you have a virus scanner software installed!!!

Actually, I have sent three or four messages (I forget which) to Senad in the past ten days; none have gone through. I tried using "reply" to a message that came through on list. I tried going to the Senad archive and using "post a message". I tried using the direct email. Nothing has got through.

I get occasional Senad email -- like one or two mails a week. I doubt that the list has been that quiet. Can you look into what's going on?

Bless you! Was just about to write you, as NONE of the mail I sent myself from my ISP account to squidge came through at all. Oh, FYI - I am now using AllieGator for my PDA mails, so there will be more traffic on it than usual, including my gmail account automatically forwarding to there.
