A friend just forwarded this to me.  Apparently if you've volunteered with the OTW/AO3 anytime in the past 14 years, you are possibly at risk of being SWATted.  SWATting is where someone calls in a fake police report to say you are a danger to yourself/others and a SWAT team is dispatched to your location.

I volunteer for the OTW and haven't heard anything like this. They've basically explained the situation in the public posts. This seems unnecessarily alarmist. And I don't know how they'd get hold of past volunteer data since there's only one committee that keeps that information.
