Two Important Updates!

First and foremost, while Squidge.org hosts the Jinjurly Podfic Archive, we do not control the domain name.  The domain name is still maintained by the original owner.  Having said that, the Jinjurly archive domain name expired - and all we can do is ask the current domain holder to renew it for us.  So we're waiting for that.  But, in the event this type of things happened, we preemptively registered the domain name AudioFicArchive.org for us to use.  So if you are currently trying to gain access to the Jinjurly Podfic Archive, please use this domain name for the time being:

Secondly, due to an influx of spam lately, I've made some changes to the spamassassin configuration.  There should be no negative side effects to this, so people using Squidge.org email should see a reduction in spam.  But if you notice anything odd - like you know you're missing email - then please let us know.  You can comment here or open a support ticket by clicking here.

Thank you very much for letting folks know about it - I was starting to think I was crazy or the issue was my Mac. And then I saw the Aug 22 update and thought you were perhaps tuning things?

I appreciate the alternate address very much, I am a big fan and user of the archive!

Thank you kindly for having brilliantly thought ahead about preemptively registering the domain name AudioFicArchive.org against the possibility of the original domain name expiring. (I have sadly seen other fanworks archives become inaccessible when the domain name expired and there was no alternate.)

I'm so glad to hear that there's a backup plan! Alas, checking it out, the audio links still point to jinjurly, not audioficarchive.org, so while you can browse it you can't actually listen. But I'm assuming you know that and are working to correct it. Projects like this always have so many little details that have to work right, thank you for all your hard work in making it happen!

Seems to be slightly more spam than I've had on squidge for ages. Less than olden times, for sure, but a few every day or every other day.

Yeah - unfortunately some of the most secure anti-SPAM blocklists are a little overzealous. If we use them, it'll block legitimate email from users, so I had to turn it off. I'm trying to find a happy medium.

This is fine (sincerely, not memelike). A couple of deletes a day don't hurt. It's exercise ;)
