Untangle firewall is working great, once I jumped through the firefox hoops to add the exception. They really, really, don't like exceptions, do they?! I just checked all of them, and all the spam-o-rama is there. I can not check any of john's, though. I don't have his links. (hope you got the thing about his email - he's driving me nuts!)

problem with YS McCool's Flashpoint site

don't know if this is related, but when I try to go to any page of the above, I get a box saying authentication required & asking for a user name & password.

Hi, I used to read your stories a few years ago. I have not been on your site in a while. I would like to access the site. I don't know if you need a statement like some of the other sites, but here is one. I am 48 year old and understand that slash fiction is a relationship between same sex couples. Thanks again!

Most of the authors of Squidge.org don't have their items password protected. If you are meaning a specific author, then please contact them; Squidge.org is made up of hundreds of authors, websites, and archives.
