Squidge.org image hosting (https://images.squidge.org) will be down for about 10 minutes from 1pm Pacific Time today to 1:10pm Pacific Time for some server adjustments.

Hey, since we're talking. I was just thinking the other day, as I was struggling with Signal going very bad since they got bought off, is chat still a thing? Are there still people using the server? I know it's there, but I don't know if it's alive. Is there anything except discord where people meet without commitment of their info to social media?

Squidge's IRC chat is still there and available - just really quiet. I know discord is the newest thing, but honestly all that is seems to be glorified IRC. I'm working on a fic recs website now, but am trying to think what else would be good to offer by way of new services.

From a brief use of Discord, I feel that having something similar but that doesn't fall apart at a second's notice and then refuses to work... might be a useful resource.
