As Promised: OTW Code Setup Documentation

A few weeks ago when SquidgeWorld.org went live, I promised a writeup on the technical aspect of the implementation. That's finally done. Thanks for writing all this out! It's definitely a much more involved process with a whole lot more work than installing & upgrading things like eFiction, WordPress or Coppermine! No wonder you're the first to have figured it out outside OTW/AO3, I don't expect a lot of fans to have the know-how and/or time & motivation to learn/maintain all this. (Though if someone want to try, your write up is a valuable resource!) I know your write up just confirmed my impression from my own try that I myself don't have the spoons to do it the way the software is now no matter how much I wish it. Though if they ever actually release it as an installable package like they promised when they started OTW/AO3 and is still listed in their roadmap (thought it'd have been out by now, it's been 12 years!), I'll be happy to play with it then!

Yeah, this software is so, so complex. And even just getting the software up and running doesn't guarantee a running archive. There's still the puzzle of day-to-day archive operations that's just not discussed anywhere. I've had to figure 90% of it out on my own.
