Verizon sucks....

Expect intermittent outages through Monday October 3rd due to Verizon problems. They were doing some upgrades this week and it failed miserably, and it's just getting worse. My ISP says that they expect horrid performance when it does work and sporatic outages through early next week.

My husband just informed me what happened to Verizon. It seems they advertised all over the place, and got millions of new subscriptions all at once. He says their poor tech department has something like a 6 month backlog. According to Leo LaPorte at "Call for Help" (on G4, excellent show) the guys at Verizon are working their hinders off to deal with the problem.
